Inpatient rehabilitation helps people who have experienced the debilitating effects of an acute injury, impairment, or illness such as:

- cardiovascular or pulmonary issues;
- neurological conditions;

- trauma
The goal of inpatient rehabilitation is to help patients achieve their best recovery possible, get them home quickly and be able to care for themselves and live independently.
North Florida Rehabilitation Hospital provides comprehensive acute rehabilitation services to meet the medical, functional, psychological, and social support needs of our patients and their families. Each patient is treated with a specialized, rehabilitation plan that has been tailored to that patient and their individual needs, abilities, tolerance for therapy, and the desired goals in order to prepare for a safe return home.
Each patient has a case manager assigned to them that assists with coordinating the patient's rehabilitative program from admission to discharge.
